不定冠词表示种类应注意些什么

不定冠词有时可以表示种类，相当于a kind (sort) of。如：

It’s a good wine. 这是一种好酒。

The potato is a vegetable, not a fruit. 土豆是一种蔬菜，不是水果。

但是，当直接用a kind (sort) of表示种类时，其后的名词一般不用冠词。如：

He’s a kind of intellectual superman. 他是智力超常的人。

He spoke with a kind of accent. 他说话带有一种地方口音。

Bamboo is not a tree, but a kind of grass. 竹不是一种树，而是一种草。

不定冠词表“一种”时，有时还可某些不可数的抽象名词连用。如：

A darkness came into her eyes, and she fell. 她眼前一黑，倒了下去。
