它是什么颜色？
这是询问颜色的特殊疑问句。疑问词What 修饰 color，因此，两个词要一起放在句首，不能分开，也不能错读成“What’s color?”回答时一定要具体落实到“颜色”上。
2）It’s red. 
表颜色的形容词单独作表词时， 不能用冠词a修饰。句中be与red连用构成系表结构， 不能用冠词。
e.g. It’s black.
3) It’s black and white.
and 是一个连词，
常用来连接两个并列成分，意思是“和、又、而且”等。如：
I have a pen and a ruler. 我有一支钢笔和一把尺子。（连接两个名词短语）
Go and ask Grace.去问问格雷斯。（连接两个动词）

1) Play the recording of 2a and get Ss to listen and repeat. Then do chain work and have a competition, get some groups of Ss to read the letters aloud and quickly in turn.
2) Play the recording of 2c, Ask Ss to number the letters.
3) Show Ss how to write the letters correctly on the Bb. Ask Ss to write down the related small letters in 2b and big letters in 2d.
4) Help Ss understand the meanings of the abbreviations in 3 and ask them to remember them.    1) Listen to the tape and repeat after it loudly. Finish 2c.
2) Look carefully and learn to write the letters in both forms correctly. Finish 2b and 2d. Check for each other.
3)Brainstorm abbreviations you know,
