一、same后接介词as　　

表示汉语的“与……一样或相同”，英语习惯上有the same as，不用 the same with, the same like等。如：　　

We treat boys exactly the same as girls. 男孩女孩我们都同等对待。　　

Why do you always try to do the same as your brother? 你为什么总想跟你兄弟做同样的事情?　　

Animal tests are often used, although there is no guarantee that the results will be the same as the effects on humans. 我们常常用动物进行试验，尽管我们无法保证试验结果与在人身上做试验取得的效果一样。　　

有时the same后接有被修饰的名词（此时的same为形容词）。如：　　

She’s travelling on the same train as you. 她和你乘坐同一班火车。　　

The cinema is showing the same film as last week. 电影院演的还是上星期的那部影片。　　

By and large, the rules for healthy eating are the same during pregnancy as at any other time. 总的来说，怀孕期间健康饮食的原则和其他时期是一致的。　　

二、same 后接介词for　　

主要用于 Same for me，意思是“我也要同样的”。如：　　

—I’ll have a coffee. 我要一杯咖啡。　　

—Same for me, please. 我也要一杯。　　

Waitress: What would you like? 服务员：你想要什么？　　

Tom: Hamburger, fries, and coffee. 汤姆：我要汉堡、薯条和咖啡。　　

Jane: Same for me. 简：我也要一样的。　　

John: For dessert, I’ll have strawberry ice cream. 约翰：甜点我要草莓冰激凌。　　

Bill: Same for me. 比尔：我也要一样的。　　

三、same 后接介词to　　

主要见于以下两类句表达：　　

1. (the) same to you 主要于回敬问候，意思是“你也一样”“也祝你……”。如：

“Happy Christmas!” “And the same to you!” “圣诞快乐!”“圣诞快乐!”　　

“Have a nice Easter.” “And the same to you Bridie.” “复活节快乐。”“你也一样，布赖迪。”　　

“Goodbye, then, and thanks. Good luck.” “The same to you.” “那么，再见，谢谢。祝你好运。”“也祝你好运。”

有时用于反唇相讥。如：　　

“Stupid!” “Same to you!” “愚蠢!”“你才愚蠢!”　

2. it’s all the same to sb 对某人不重要，对某人来说无所谓。如：　　

it was all the same to me where it was being sold. 它在哪里销售对我来说无所谓。　　

It’s all the same to me whether we eat now or later. 我们现在吃也行，过一会儿吃也行——我无所谓。

四、same 后接介词with　　

主要用于it’s the same with sb / sth，意思是“某人或某事物也一样（也是如此）”。

Butterflies come from caterpillars. It’s the same with moths. 蝴蝶由毛虫演变而来。飞蛾也是一样。 　　

说明：It’s the same with…相当于 The same goes for…。如：　　

Terry needs to relax more, and the same goes for you. 特里需要冷静些，你也一样。　　

Britain has a high level of unemployment but the same goes for many other countries. 英国失业率很高——但许多国家也如此。　　

He thought the lunch was terrible, and the same goes for all the rest of us too. 他认为这顿午餐糟透了，我们其他人也有同感。　　

五、same 后接其他词　　

以下各句中 the same 后的介词皆因句意所需，而非与 the same 构成搭配：
