一个美国朋友来拜访Bill,一见面便对Bill说“I haven’t seen you lately. What are you up to ?” Bill心想：他问我上楼做什么？于是便说道“I’m so introduce my MP4 with the latest style.”好友反应过来Bill误解了意思。只好跟他上去，看他如何炫耀。

遇到好久不见得朋友，口语用上这句What are you up to?意思就是“最近忙什么？”“最近在做什么？”当你看到别人乱翻你的东西时，用这句话也可表示“你在搞什么鬼啊？”。
