NASA captured an incredible image of the sun. It’s not quite Halloween yet, but it seems the sun has pulled out its fancy dress early.
This was taken on October 8th. Scientists say a storm of magnetic field made the sun look like a ‘solar jack-o’ lantern’s face.’ The brighter flares are areas of the sun that emit more light and energy.
