Winds of more than 100 miles an hour have been reported as the latest wave of severe weather batters Britain.
The storm has spread east throughout Friday morning with Northern England and north Wales the worst affected. Some 13,000 homes across England and Wales had no power on Friday.
Prime Minister David Cameron visited one of the worst affected areas of Yalding in the south of England. He said right now the priority is to help people recover from the terrible shock. Heavy storms and rain first hit southern England on Monday. Forecasts say more storms are on their way before the new year.
