The math is simple for the English national football team win and they are in for next year’s World Cup in Brazil.
Standing in the way of the Three Lions though in their last qualification match for both is Poland a side who 40 years ago, drew the hosts 1-all at Wembley to deny England a place in the World Cup. The English side...will be looking to exorcise those demons on Tuesday evening, while Poland, who will have 18-thousand strong backing them inside Wembley will be looking to break the hearts of English football fans once more.
England manager Roy Hodgson though...is confident his national will produce a win this time. Hodgson is expected to retain exciting new winger Andros Townsend in the starting 11 on Tuesday. The 22-year-old made a goal-scoring debut for England last Friday when his pace and trickery inspired them to a 4-1 victory against Montenegro at Wembley. Poland cannot qualify for the World Cup, but are playing for pride and the chance to play spoiler.
Anything less than victory and England could be forced into the playoffs, something they desperately want to avoid.
