Chinese Ambassador to the US, Zhang Yesui, says the Asia-Pacific is the most economically dynamic region in the world, but it still faces daunting challenges.

He says President Hu Jintao will elaborate on China’s stance on such issues as global economic governance, economic development in the Asia-Pacific region and multilateral trade. He says Hu will also hold meetings on the sidelines with leaders of other APEC leaders.
他透露，胡主席将就全球经济治理、亚太经济发展、多边贸易等问题阐述中方立场。他表示，胡主席还将同亚太经合组织其它成员的领导人举行会谈。
Zhang Yesui said: "At the summit, leaders from APEC member economies will discuss regional economic growth, integration, green growth, energy security and regulatory cooperation. The success of the summit will have a significant impact on Asia-Pacific cooperation and world economic recovery."
张业遂表示：“在峰会上，来自亚太经合组织成员国的领导人将讨论经济增长、一体化、绿色增长、能源安全和规制合作等议题。会议取得成功，对于亚太区域合作、世界经济复苏具有重要意义。”
The ambassador also stressed that APEC members are at different stages of development. He says Chinese side is committed to working with other member economies to boost cooperation and push for pragmatic results at the summit.
这位大使还强调，亚太经合组织成员间的发展水平不同。他表示，中方愿意与其它成员国一道，推动合作，推动峰会取得务实成果。
