[01:34.22]She washes,dries,and puts away all the dishes and silverware

[01:52.33]Taking the Ferry(E)
[01:55.67]Every morning Tom drives to the dock and takes the ferry to work

[02:04.26]he woke up late because he had forgotten to set the alarm clock the night before,
[02:10.72]so is failed to go off in the morning.And he was getting late for work
[02:16.67]He quickly got dressed,had breakfast,and rushed out the door
[02:23.05]He got to the dock and saw the boat about eight feet away
[02:28.79]So he took a running jump,jumped as far as he could,and landed on the boat
[02:35.77]A woman on the boat said to him,
[02:39.11]"You know,if you had waited a minute,we would have been in."
[02:44.18]Bathing a Dog(M)
[02:47.52]Little Dave's dog is dirty today,and Dave decides to give him a bath
[02:54.08]First,Dave lifts both lids of the toilet,
[02:59.12]and adds some shampoo to the toilet water
[03:03.28]Then he soothes the dog while he carries him towards the bathroom
[03:08.63]In one smooth movement,he puts the dog in the toilet and closes both lids
[03:14.87]He then flushes the toilet three or four times
[03:13.87]The dog is barking inside the toilet,trying to get out.
[03:19.02]Dave stands beside the toilet as far as he can,and quickly lifts both lids
[03:25.50]The dog quickly gets out of the toilet
[03:29.34]and runs outside where he can dry himself
[03:33.49]Unit 2  Education

[03:52.04]While pointing to the very simple word"yet"
[03:56.90]Mary asks the boy next to her if he can pronounce it for her
[04:03.45]She is reading her book,upside down
[04:08.50]She announces the page number each time she turns a page
[04:14.37]She then starts arguing with herself
[04:19.52]When the boy looks at her,she says,"Oh,I'm sorry.
[04:26.08]I was just telling myself to be quiet."
[04:31.25]She takes out a bag,peers into it and says,
[04:37.60]"Settle down in there.I'm trying to read!"
[04:43.76]She is reading silently,and then as if speaking to the character in her book
[04:51.34]she says,"No,Jim!It's a setup!Don't do it!"
[04:57.79]Then she turns to the boy and says,"He's a fool."
[05:03.35]In a School Library(2)(E)
[05:07.61]Every few minutes,David gets up out of his chair
[05:11.97]walks around the table,and sits back down
[05:16.41]While reading his book,he starts humming a single note until he's out of breath
[05:22.97]He collapses on the floor.Then he gets back up,
[05:28.25]and continues reading as if nothing happened
[05:32.61]While placing small pieces of bread in a line
[05:36.87]he counts one,two,three...,and loses count every ten or so.
[05:44.31]While reading his book, he turns around so he's facing the girl behind him.
[05:50.09]Then,he peers over the top of his book,and says"Hi"
[05:56.15]He has a recording of a popular song and plays it on headphones quietly
[06:02.62]but sings along very badly.
[06:06.39]Then he says to the girl,"I took singing lessons!"
[06:11.74]Unit 3  Food and Drink
[06:25.69]Cowboy(M)
[06:28.25]A cowboy rode into town and stopped at a bar for a drink
[06:33.61]Unfortunately,the locals had a habit of picking on strangers
[06:39.25]When the cowboy finished his drinkk,he found his horse had been stolen
[06:44.71]He went back into the bar,flipped his gun into the air
[06:49.98]caught it above his head without even looking and fired a shot into the ceiling
[06:56.04]"Which one of you stole my horse?"he shouted with surprising forcefulness.
[07:02.81]No one answered.He ordered another beer and said,
