Dialogue 1.

W: Excuse me? Can you tell me where the Holiday Hotel is?

M: Turn left at the second light and then go straight for 2 blocks.

W: Is it far?

M: No. It’s only a five minute walk.

W: Thanks a lot.

M: You are welcome.

Dialogue 2.

W: Can you help me out? I am trying to find a post office.

M: Go 3 blocks and make the right. It’s right there.

W: Should I take the bus?

M: No. It only takes about 5 minutes to walk.

W: Thank you very much.

M: Any time.

Dialogue 3.

W: Excuse me. Could you tell me how to get to the airport?

M: You can take bus 5. The driver will tell you where to get off.

W: Yes, but I am driving my own car.

M: Oh, then you drive along this street, turn right at the third cross road, keep straight on until you see a road sign that says “Airport”, and then you follow the landmark, it will direct you to the airport.

W: Drive along this street, turn right, keep straight, and then I will see the road sign?

M: That’s right.
