Dialogue 1句型1A:Your desktop looks different from how it used to look.你的电脑桌面看起来跟以前的不一样。B:Yeah, I just installed windows98.是的。我刚安装了视窗98。It has a few new features that make it look different .有几项新特点，所以看起来不一样。

Dialogue 2句型2A:I didn't know Windows 2000 was already on the market.我不知道视窗2000已经上市了。B:Well, this is a beta version, but it works pertty well.嗯，这是试用版，不过蛮好用的。A: I think I'll wait for the real thing to come out.我想等正版出来再说。

Dialogue 3句型3A: I think my computer is slowing me down at work.我想，有了电脑反而拖延了我的工作。B:Why is that?怎么回事？A: I spent all morning setting its wallpaper, screen saver sound files and icons just the way I like them.整个早上我都设定背景画面、屏幕保护程序、声音和图标，把它们弄成我喜欢的样子。When I got done ,there wasn't time to do anything else!等到搞定了，也没有什么时间做别的了。

Dilogue 4句型4A:Do you have something against Microsoft?你对微软是不是有什么反感？B: I don't necessarily have anything against them.没有必要反感他们啊。A:But you don't have anything for them either?但是也没有什么好感吧？B: No, actually Microsoft has done some very good things for the computer industry.是没有。其实微软对电脑业有不少贡献。I would just like to see them have some competition.我只是想看有人与他们竞争。Windows works all right,but it could still use a lot of improvement, and that probably won't happen without some competition.视窗还算好用，不过还是有不少改进的余地，没有竞争就不可能有进步。
