[00:11.13]A poor farmer who had always lived in th country and had never visited a big town won a lot of money,
[00:18.47]so he decided that he could now afford a holiday in an excellent hotel by the sea.
[00:24.06]When lunch-tome came on his first day there,he decided to go and eat in the restaurant of the hotel.
[00:32.18]The head waiter showed him to his table,took his order and went away.
[00:37.88]When he looked at the farmer again,he had a surprise!
[00:41.77]The farmer had tied his table napkin round his  neck.
[00:46.63]The head writer was very annoyed at his and immediately told one of the other waiters in the restaurant
[00:52.66]to go to the man and inform him,withouty being in any way insulting,
[00:52.73]that people did not do such a thing in restaurants of that quality.
[00:57.12]The warter went to the farmer and said in a friendly voice,"Good morning,sir.Would you like a shave,or a haircut?"

[01:09.09]What Do the Romands Do?
[01:11.52]Mr Turnbull:When in Rome,do as the Romans do,they say.
[01:15.67]Mrs Turnbull:What do the Romans do?
[01:17.92]Mr Turnbull:They live in Rome,of course,and got to work by car ort bus.
[01:22.33]But sometimes it takes too long that way because of the traffic jams,so they walk.
[01:28.65]Mrs Turnbull:In other words,thr Romans do what everyone else does.
[01:32.62]Mr Turnbull:Yes,but they do it differently.Everything is different.
[01:36.54]Mrs Turnbull:What do you mean?
[01:37.98]Mr Turnbull:Well,the climate's different for a start.
[01:41.11]It doesn't rain so much as it does in England.The sun shines them more often.

[01:47.59]Mr Turnbull:I know.You hate the rain,don't you?
[01:50.67]Mrs Turnbull:I certainly do.
[01:52.03]Mr Turnbull:And Roman really lives life.He know how to engoy himself.
[01:56.63]Mrs Turnbull:They always eat spaghetti and drink wine,don't they?
