字母和文字如何变复数

一般说来，字母和文字在变复数时，通常是在词尾加 -’s。如：

There are two i’s in the word “skiing”. skiing这个词里有两个字母i。

Mind your p’s and q’s. 要谨言慎行。

All the –’s should be changed to +’s. 所有的负号应改为正号。

若不至于发生混淆，也可只加词尾-s：

He was born in the 1930(’)s. 他出生在20世纪30年代。

Your 3(’)s look like 8(’)s. 你写的3看起来像8。
