To think that + 从句!

由 to think that…构成的感叹句，表示惊讶及意外的情绪。如：

And to think that I trusted him! 我竟然信任了他!

To think that I was once a billionaire! 想想看! 我还会是个亿万富翁呢!

that 从句有时用虚拟语气，且 that 有时也可省略。如：

Dear, dear! To think that I should be late on this particular morning, of all others! 哎呀，哎呀! 想不到偏偏要今天早上迟到!

To think he would come to anything like that! 真没想到他竟有这样的下场!

To think that she should have died such a tragic death! 没想到她会死得这样惨!
