Clerk: National Car Rental, how can I help you?
Customer: I’d like to rent an automatic car the day after tomorrow.
CL: OK, how long would you like to rent it for?
CU: Urm, from the 19th,next Wednesday, for three days. I'll return it on the 21st.
CL: OK, now, what type of car would you like to have? We've got vans,....
CU: Urm, just the smallest type, please, 'cos it's just for me.
CL: OK, then...we've got Toyota and Astra
CU: Whichever the cheaper one please.
CL: OK, so it'll be an Astra. That's ￡45 per day. So for three days, it'll be ￡135 plus VAT. So in total,￡158.62 and covers unlimited mileage, third party insurance, theft, fire and damage.
CU: How about petrol?
CL:As for petrol, you can purchase a full tank of petrol in advance for just ￡35.73.Then you don't have to fill up the tank before returning. Would you like to do this?
CU: Urm, yes, please.
CL: Now, what type of driving license have you got?
CU: An international one.
CL: OK, and how old are you?
CU: I'm over 25.
CL: OK, that's fine. Now, on the 19th, about what time would like to pick up the car?
CU: Well, say, around noon? Is that OK?
CL: No problem. Now on the 21st, when you return the car, please make sure you return it by 8:00pm 'cos our office closes at 8:30 pm.

在美语中license名词和动词的拼法是一样的，但是英式英语中的licence 是名词，动词用license。
