[00:-2.00]Now listen and repeat the name of each animal that you hear.

[00:-8.00]Some of these animal names have regular plurals and some have irregular plurals.
[00:-9.00]Listen to the names of these animals again,
[00:10.00]but don't repeat what you hear.
[00:11.00]Instead,give the plural form of each name you hear.
[00:12.00]For example,you hear....
[00:13.00]One goose.And you say....
[00:14.00]Two geese.Or you hear....
[00:15.00]One fox.  And you say...
[00:16.00]Two foxes. Ready?Let's begin.

[00:19.00]One fish.Two fishi.
[00:20.00]One eagle. Two eagles.

[00:27.00]Now listen and change each of the following sentences.
[00:28.00]The nouns and verb forms are in the singular.
[00:29.00]You change them to the plural.
[00:30.00]For example,you hear...
[00:31.00]A mouse is a rodent.And you say....
[00:32.00]A mouse is a rodent.Or you hear...
[00:33.00]A butterfly is an insect.And you say..
[00:34.00]Butterflies are insects.OK?Let's begin.

[00:37.00]A sheep is a mammal.Sheep are mammals.
[00:38.00]A goose is a bird.Geese are birds.
[00:39.00]An alligator is a reptile.      Alligators are reptiles.
[00:40.00]Now listen to two or three sentences about animals.
[00:41.00]Then combine all the sentences into one sentence,
[00:42.00]changing the singular forms to the plural.For example,you hear....
[00:43.00]A deer is a mammal.A sheep is a mammal.A cow is a mammal.
[00:44.00]And you say....
[00:45.00]Deer,sheep,and cows are mammals.
[00:46.00]Or you hear...
[00:47.00]A fly is an insect.A butterfly is an insect.

[00:49.00]Flies and butterflies are insects.

[-1:-7.00]This one is beautiful.
[-1:-8.00]The other one is strange-looking.
[-1:-9.00]And look at those two ducks.
[-1:10.00]This one is green.The other is black.
[-1:11.00]Now listen to and repeat these sentences.
[-1:12.00]This one is beautiful.
[-1:13.00]The other one is strange-looking.
[-1:14.00]This one is green.  The other is black.
[-1:15.00]Remember that you can use either the other one or the other.
[-1:16.00]And you can use either the other ones or the others.
[-1:17.00]Now listen to the cues and form two sentences.
[-1:18.00]For example,you hear.....
[-1:19.00]Book...red.Other one....blue.
[-1:20.00]And you say...
